New community marks the start of construction within 'The Wedge,' a 1,949 acre land parcel recently annexed from Palm Beach County to Broward County
PARKLAND, Fla., May 11, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Standard Pacific Homes, one of the nation's leaders in homebuilding quality, today announced plans to break ground on Watercrest at Parkland, a 288 acre master-planned community offering over 450 upscale home sites in the affluent city of Parkland. The new community is the first to be built within the 1,949 acre wedge shaped property located between County Line Road and Loxahatchee Road that is in the process of being annexed from Broward County to Parkland. Slated to launch sales in early 2013, the new community will showcase Standard Pacific Homes' all-new home designs and thoughtful community planning all centered on 150 acres of picturesque lakes. A groundbreaking ceremony will be held Tuesday, May 15 at 11:00 a.m.
