"The grand opening of Standard Pacific Casitas and Standard Pacific Bungalows at Rancho Mission Viejo marks an important milestone for the Company as we unveil our all new, single-story floor plans designed specifically for the 55+ age range," said Ted McKibbin, Southern California Coastal President for Standard Pacific Homes. "We put a great deal of thought into creating homes that meet the needs of buyers looking for a lock and leave lifestyle. The new architectural features paired with the exquisite community amenities offer an active, resort-style atmosphere and the ideal place to call home."

The impressive fleet of new single-story designs incorporates Great Room-centered floor plans that emphasize gourmet kitchens, covered outdoor living spaces, luxurious master suites with walk-in closets and spacious private baths. An abundance of storage space is strategically located throughout the home. Lofts create an elegant retreat and may be used as an ideal home office or hobby room. Standard Pacific Homes incorporated San Juan Capistrano's Spanish heritage and modern architectural influences to create a vibrant array of exterior styles including Spanish, Monterey and Western Ranch.

Standard Pacific Casitas offer five design styles to choose from and range from 1,624 to 2,059 square feet of space and contain up to 3 bedrooms plus a loft and 2.5 baths. All of the homes are detached and include an outdoor courtyard. Standard Pacific Bungalows feature four different designs that range from 1,276 to 1,692 square feet and contain up to 3 bedrooms plus a loft and 2 baths. The Bungalows include both attached and detached homes.

The Ranch encompasses 23,000 acres where a working farm, fruit orchards, nature reserve and hiking and biking trails coexist within a village atmosphere. The community core is centered on a scenic combination of parks, clubhouses, a community center and recreational facilities. Residents will have access to amenities and services such as the ability to work out, lounge poolside, get a massage, sign up for boot camp, practice chipping, or take in a concert just steps from their front doors.

To experience the new designs by Standard Pacific Homes, attend the Grand Opening celebration on June 29 and June 30. The Standard Pacific Bungalows sales center is located at 1 Galan St., Rancho Mission Viejo, CA 92694.
