Lennar breaks ground on first-ever West Virginia Homes In Harvest Hills

SHENANDOAH JUNCTION, W.Va., June 15, 2021 /PRNewswire/ -- Lennar, one of the nation's leading homebuilders, has announced the groundbreaking of its new Harlow II model at its first-ever single-family home community in West Virginia. Harvest Hills brings together Lennar's distinctive quality, comfort and technology in an intimate neighborhood of 27 home sites.

Located in Shenandoah Junction, in historic Jefferson County, Harvest Hills boasts single-family homes on generous one-plus acre homesites. Homebuyers can select from four updated, open concept, two-story home designs, including a first-floor owner's suite, ranging from 2,742 to 3,377 square feet, with two-and-a-half to four-and-a-half baths. Interior features are curated from Lennar's most popular floorplans and include spacious center-island kitchens, large living areas and spa-inspired owner's suites.

Harvest Hills homes are available in four popular exterior styles – Traditional, Cottage, Farmhouse, Craftsman and Federal.

"Homebuilding is such an important calling, and one we take tremendous pride in," said Lennar Virginia/DC Metro/West Virginia Division President Tim Bates. "Harvest Hills represents the best of Lennar quality, design and technology. We're so excited to break ground on this stellar community and to mark our first-ever offering for the residents of West Virginia."

Every home at Harvest Hills is a Connected Home by Lennar®, providing a Ring video doorbell and alarm security kit, invisible smart lock, eero Pro 6 Mesh no-dead-spot-guarantee Wi-Fi, Honeywell Home T6 Pro Z-Wave smart thermostat and Flo by Moen™ smart water leak detector.

All homes also come with Lennar's signature Everything's Included® program, where the homebuilder's most popular options and upgrades are built into the base price of the home. At Harvest Hills this includes granite countertops, brand-name appliances and wide-plank flooring at no extra cost. Pricing is from the $400s.

Residents at Harvest Hills will enjoy serene mountain views and a walkable neighborhood.

The community sits near the confluence of Virginia, Maryland and Washington D.C., just seven miles west of Harpers Ferry and within five miles of Charles Town and Shepherdstown. It is convenient to eight federal government agencies, four national parks, four higher-learning institutions and a host of local shopping, dining and entertainment destinations.

For commuting residents, Harvest Hills offers easy access to multiple highways and interstates and is a half-mile from the Duffields MARC Station, which runs along the Brunswick Line to Union Station in Washington D.C. Children living at Harvest Hills are served by Driswood Elementary School, Wildwood Middle School and Jefferson High School.

Construction on Harvest Hills begins this month, with a model grand opening anticipated in Fall 2021.
